Job summary

Mourant is seeking an Associate Director for our Fund Accounting team in the United Kingdom. You will lead day-to-day activities, mentor junior staff, and collaborate across locations to deliver accurate financial reporting for a wide portfolio of clients.

The role requires ACCA/ACA or equivalent, solid UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge, and experience with PCS and Yardi. A proactive data analyst with strong problem-solving skills will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent with strong UK GAAP/IFRS knowledge.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and Luxembourg GAAP is a plus.
• Experience using PCS and Yardi accounting systems.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Aptitude for data analysis and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities of team members and allocate work to meet client requirements and deadlines.
• Collaborate across accounting locations to provide explanations, advice and support.
• Act as role model to junior colleagues to build and motivate a high-performing team.
• Drive innovation in financial reporting delivery using available tools.
• Guide the team through complex transactions and consult with fund directors as required.
• Build and develop relationships with clients, auditors and third-party service providers.
• Collaborate to manage client expectations and deadlines.
• Resolve accounting queries with client administration and colleagues.
