Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance Operations function across AP, AR, Credit Control, Expenses and Payments.
• Develop and deliver the long-term Finance Operations and transformation strategy.
• Improve experience and service for internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive process improvement, standardisation and simplification.
• Lead digital transformation, including automation, workflow, self-service and AI.
• Maximise the value of Workday and associated finance technologies.
• Ensure processes are scalable, well controlled and compliant.
• Provide oversight of financial governance, audit readiness and data integrity.
• Manage complex stakeholder relationships and act as a senior escalation point.
• Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing team.

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exceptional job opportunity for an experienced Associate Director - Finance shared services to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation.

This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for leading and developing a high-performing Finance Operations function across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Credit Control, Expenses and Payments, while driving a significant programme of process, technology and service transformation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in modernising Finance Operations, improving service delivery, simplifying processes and maximising the use of technology, automation, self-service and AI.

Your duties will include:

• Leading the Finance Operations function across AP, AR, CC, Expenses and Payments.
• Developing and delivering the long-term Finance Operations and transformation strategy.
• Improving the experience and service provided to internal and external stakeholders.
• Driving process improvement, standardisation and simplification.
