Job summary

Affinia in the UK is seeking an Associate Director within our Accounts service line to lead a high‑value client portfolio, deliver strategic, compliant and commercially successful services, and mentor managers.

You’ll oversee service delivery, manage WIP and billing, contribute to service line strategy, and partner with Directors to drive growth, while benefiting from leadership training and CPD access via Tolley’s, Croner-i, Mercia and LinkedIn Learning.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification (fully qualified with significant post-qualification experience)
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with experience mentoring Managers and Senior Managers
• Track record in commercial portfolio management, WIP/billing oversight, and client retention
• Strategic thinker with ability to contribute to business planning and change initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead service delivery for a portfolio of high-value or technically complex clients
• Monitor WIP, billing and profitability and ensure delivery within budgets and timelines
• Contribute to service line strategy and lead cross-location initiatives
• Provide ongoing guidance and development opportunities to junior team members
• Identify and lead process improvements and technology adoption to enhance client experience
• Manage risks, ensure compliance with firm standards and regulatory requirements
• Support business development, proposals and client onboarding
