Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Associate Director Dams and Reservoirs Engineer in the UK to lead multi-disciplinary design teams on iconic reservoir projects. The role offers career development and visibility across major water clients.

You will drive technical excellence, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor engineers while shaping best practices within the Design & Advanced Technology practice.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale engineering design delivery in a design consultancy.
• Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of dams, reservoirs, hydraulic structures and codes.
• Experience in the Water market is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers and scientists delivering complex reservoir projects.
• Develop design deliverables for reservoir aspects and manage budgets.
• Review and approve technical deliverables and reports.
• Provide technical leadership within the D&AT practice and share best practices.
• Grow and manage dams and hydraulic structures capabilities regionally or nationally.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in the UK and overseas.
