Rightmove is seeking an Associate Data Scientist to join the Data, Analytics & AI team. You will work with experienced data scientists and ML engineers to build, evaluate and productionize models for the UK property market.

Ideal candidates are eager to learn, solve practical problems, and contribute to a product-focused environment while using descriptive statistics and visualisations to communicate insights. Hybrid working with office presence is offered.

Qualificações

• Solid understanding of core ML concepts, algorithms, loss functions, and evaluation metrics.
• Experience with Python and SQL via academic, project, or early prod work.
• Familiar with at least one ML library/framework (scikit-learn, XGBoost, PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Working knowledge of descriptive statistics and data visualization to interpret results.

Responsabilidades

• Build, train and evaluate ML models using standard libraries under mentorship.
• Tune hyperparameters, interpret results and explain model performance.
• Write SQL and Python to query and transform datasets, run data quality checks.
• Create visualisations and summarize data to highlight patterns and insights.
• Support experiments design and monitor product metrics.
