Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Corporate Counsel in the United Kingdom with 4+ years of experience to join our international commercial legal team. The role focuses on managing the full lifecycle of Public Sector cloud/SaaS, software subscriptions, and data processing agreements.

You will collaborate with global teams across the USA, EMEA, APJ and report to the UK & Emerging Region Legal Director, balancing legal risk with business strategy to enable compliant dealmaking.

Qualifications

• Qualified to practice in the United Kingdom with 4+ years drafting technology contracts for Public Sector clients.
• Strong knowledge of public procurement law, public law, and contract law; understand cyber security obligations.
• Experience with cross-regional regions including the United Kingdom, France, Australia and Germany.
• Ability to balance legal risks with business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full legal lifecycle of Public Sector cloud/SaaS, software subscriptions, and professional services agreements.
• Review ITT/RFP requirements, draft legal responses, and advise on terms proposed by contracting authorities.
• Collaborate with UK Legal Director (France) and Security Controller (UK) and global Legal team across USA, EMEA, APJ.
• Support ad hoc projects for EMEA & Global Legal teams and monitor regulatory developments.
• Help build workflows between Legal and other departments, leveraging AI/tools for compliance.
