Job summary

Birmingham City Council is seeking an Associate Contact Lead to strengthen the profile of Commercial and Procurement Services through engaging, audience-focused communications across multiple channels.

You will develop campaigns, produce accessible content for intranet and newsletters, and translate complex procurement information for diverse audiences while measuring impact and driving continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering communication, engagement or marketing campaigns across multiple channels within a complex organisation.
• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce engaging content for both specialist and non-specialist audiences.
• Experience supporting organisational change or transformation through effective communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent relationship-building skills, working collaboratively with colleagues, leaders and external stakeholders.
• The ability to analyse engagement data and use insight to improve communications and influence behaviour.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and delivering innovative, audience-focused communications.

Responsibilities
