Job summary

Birmingham City Council is seeking an Associate Performance and Talent Management Lead to join our newly established Commercial and Procurement Service.   • Experience in learning and development, organisational development, talent management or workforce capability within a professional environment.
  • Experience designing, delivering or coordinating learning programmes, workshops or development initiatives.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence, coach and support colleagues at all levels.
  • Experience using HR, learning or knowledge management systems to monitor capability and support professional development.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to create engaging guidance, learning materials and development resources.
  • Strong organisational skills with experience managing multiple projects, events and priorities simultaneously.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and helping others build rewarding careers within commercial and procurement services.

Responsibilities

Grade D - £45,091 – £53,460

Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Equal Pay Programme

Working 36.5 hours per week
