Job Description

The purpose of this role is to support the service delivery of client accounts across the People Solutions practice. Responsible for the development of client relationships, managing benefit reviews/placements, and ensuring services are coordinated and delivered effectively.

Key Tasks & Duties

  1. Understand clients' benefit requirements and provide advice on insurer services, coverage, and pricing.
  2. Deliver day-to-day servicing to support retention and development of the business.
  3. Prepare risk specifications, manage scheme accounting, run census data audits, and handle ad-hoc consulting projects.
  4. Ensure renewal timelines are met, market reviews are undertaken, and policies are placed in advance of renewal.
  5. Review service disruption/dissatisfaction and implement appropriate actions with carriers to resolve.
  6. Support the broader development of insurer relationships.
  7. Ensure compliance requirements and internal controls are fully met.
  8. Oversee delivery of claims and underwriting activity.
  9. Coordinate the use of other Lockton specialist teams where required.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Proven experience in SME broking/consulting environment.
  • Principal focus on healthcare and group risk insurances (ideally both). Exceptional client relationship skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, focusing on priorities, targets, and deadlines.
  • Good critical thinker and able to distill complex issues into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrate a desire to learn, a proactive approach, and the ability to research information.
