As part of Heathrow's Net Zero strategy, the entire power supply is set to be upgraded over the coming years. The site will be fed from the Grid through a complex substation network.
Could you be the person to lead the small on-site civil and structural design team for this exciting challenge?
You will be employed by a dynamic and creative design consultancy that has been awarded this project, to lead their on-site design team based at Heathrow.
The firm is a financially robust design consultancy with many major top-name clients.
The current team at Heathrow consists of three design engineers and two technicians and is expected to grow further.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the design, including the detailed design of the new substations, developing and managing the team, carrying out business development for future projects, and building relationships.
You should be Chartered MICE or MIStructE, with a strong civil/structural design background, including experience with substation projects. You should be a strong leader, project manager, and relationship builder.
