Associate Civil/Structural Engineer
Location: Heathrow Airport, TW6
Salary: £75k-£90k
As part of Heathrow's Net Zero strategy, the entire power supply is to be upgraded over the coming years, fed from the National Grid via a complex substation network.
We are seeking a leader to manage a small on-site civil and structural design team for this exciting project. You will be employed by a dynamic design consultancy awarded this project, leading their on-site design team at Heathrow.
The firm is a financially robust practice with major clients. The current team at Heathrow includes three design engineers and two technicians, with plans to expand.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing the design, including detailed design of new substations, developing and managing the team, business development, and building client relationships.
Candidates should be Chartered (MICE or MIStructE) with a strong civil/structural design background, including experience with substation projects. Leadership, project management, and relationship-building skills are essential.
