This is an exciting time for AECOM as we continue to build our global business. As an Associate Director, you will have the opportunity to lead and shape the structural engineering team and be a key member of the Buildings + Places team. There is potential for growth into a role that drives business expansion in the South East and London Region.

What you’ll do

Your role will be client-facing, managing projects, identifying new leads, and securing business. You will engage with clients and professionals at project inception, contributing your engineering expertise to design concepts. You should have experience delivering projects from start to finish, managing resources, and maintaining client relationships to secure future opportunities.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or member of ICE or IStructE
• Strong knowledge of engineering practices, techniques, and structural principles
• Experience leading and managing structural projects as the main contact
• Understanding of construction contracts, fee preparation, and project management principles
• Excellent communication skills for proposals and presentations

• Experience selling civil and structural engineering services and leading multidisciplinary teams
