First People Solutions is partnering with a leading consulting engineering firm seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join their dynamic Infrastructure team. This role offers the chance to contribute to impactful projects across sectors such as Custodial, Education, Commercial, Leisure, and more.

You will be an experienced Civil Engineer with expertise in producing technical designs, specifications, and reports for projects of various sizes, types, and complexities. In this role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of projects, lead a team of engineers and technicians, and maintain close relationships with clients.

What we need from you:

1. Degree in Civil Engineering
2. Chartered status (CEng / IEng) required
3. Good understanding of forms of appointment and construction contracts
4. Experience liaising with clients and securing new work
5. Experience managing infrastructure schemes and bespoke projects
6. Proven ability to write and present project proposals
7. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective team leadership
