Job summary

STAR Asset Finance Group is seeking an Associate Broker Manager to join our regional teams across Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, West Sussex or Surrey. This entry-level to mid-level growth role offers mentorship, full training, and a clear path to a Broker/Business Development Manager role.

You will learn to build customer relationships, manage introducer networks, structure asset finance deals, and close opportunities while working with senior leadership and Sales Directors.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge in asset finance or transferable skills from commercial lending, sales or account management.

Responsibilities

• Deal Support & Execution: take enquiries, prepare quotes, process applications, and package proposals for funder submissions.
• Relationship & Pipeline Building: support prospecting, engage decision-makers, and manage an active sales pipeline.
• Market Learning & Positioning: develop product and market knowledge, understand competitor landscapes and UVPs.
• Sales & Marketing Alignment: support senior management with campaigns, dealer visits and customer follow-ups.
• Compliance & Standards: participate in regular training to master regulatory compliance and governance.
