Position Summary: Manage daily receipt of cash, coins, and checks, prepare bank deposits, maintain the Full Service Vending Coin Bank, update the Cashier System, and oversee end-of-day reporting and proof of delivery processes.

Responsibilities

Technical Skills:

  • Count, verify, and balance all revenues received to ensure accurate processing and reporting.
  • Receive sales revenue in cash and checks from route delivery staff, ensuring proper accounting of company funds.
  • Maintain strong math, bookkeeping, and/or accounting skills.
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and related paperwork for proper crediting.
  • Create tracking spreadsheets for deposits, follow-up, and collections of outstanding balances.
  • Collaborate with Functional Teams to resolve discrepancies and variances.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and identify adjustments, including non-sufficient funds.
  • Maintain supplies such as forms, deposit slips, and deposit books.
  • Support HQ Accounting with cashier workbooks.
  • Interact daily with internal and external teams.
  • Uphold high levels of integrity and professionalism daily.
  • Work proficiently and calmly under pressure.
  • Generate detailed and summary reports using IT tools like SAP.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
  • Provide backup coverage for team members when required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Expected salary range: $38,700 - $61,850.
  • Salary will depend on location, skills, experience, and education.
  • Paid time off includes parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement leave.

Qualifications
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a support function.
  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Experience in revenue and asset counting and settlement.
  • Cash handling and cashier experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong math skills and thorough knowledge of cash handling.
  • Intermediate computer literacy and ability to learn multiple IT applications like SAP.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent organization, follow-up, and communication skills.
  • Discretion with sensitive information.
  • Ability to lift coin bags up to 50 lbs.
