Job summary

Strata Consulting Limited in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer / Team Leader to guide the infrastructure team and drive project delivery from feasibility to detailed design.

You will mentor engineers, manage highways and drainage schemes, and ensure high technical standards while coordinating with clients and authorities. Chartered status or progression is preferred, with a strong track record in the North East.

Qualifications

• Strong UK consultancy experience within development infrastructure.
• Experience delivering highways and drainage schemes.
• Experience managing teams and leading projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of S38, S278 and S104 approvals.
• Proficient with Civil 3D and drainage software.
• Confident client-facing and leadership skills.
• Chartered or working towards Chartership preferred.

An established and growing Civil & Structural Engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Associate Civil Engineer / Team Leader to lead and grow its infrastructure team in Newcastle.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level Civil Engineer looking to take ownership of project delivery, mentor engineers and play a key role in the continued expansion of a successful North East consultancy.

The role will involve leading a wide range of development infrastructure projects across residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use sectors, managing schemes from initial feasibility through to detailed design and technical approvals.

The Role
