Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead infrastructure and development projects, taking ownership of deliverables, building client relationships, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in an engineering consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of drainage and highway design.
• Experience using Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and InfoDrainage/MicroDrainage.
• Knowledge of UK design standards and approval processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating design teams.
• Chartered status or progression towards ICE Chartership is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of civil projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic developments.
• Produce and review highways, drainage and infrastructure designs.
• Manage projects through all stages of the design process.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and liaise with clients, local authorities, and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, specifications, and drawings.
• Mentor and support Graduate Engineers and Civil Engineers.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a growing and dynamic engineering consultancy in Manchester.

This role is ideal for a technically capable engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects, building strong client relationships, and supporting the development of junior team members. You will play a key role in delivering infrastructure and development projects across a variety of sectors, working within a collaborative and forward-thinking team environment.

Role

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will:

Requirements
