About The ServiceCardiff Youth Service is seeking to recruit Assistant Youth Support Workers to develop and support our Inclusive provisions within the Locality Youth Work model.

Cardiff Youth Service is establishing locality teams to support Youth Work and Wider Youth Support Services within communities. The new structure emphasizes partnership working and collaborative practice.
This is an exciting chance to join a service that puts individuals at the heart of its work.
You will be part of a locality Youth Work team supporting planning, delivery, and evaluation of Youth Work with young people in inclusive provisions.
The role requires working evenings and weekends based on provision needs.
You will support the delivery of flexible, adaptable Youth Work programs in an inclusive setting.
What We Are Looking For From YouApplicants must meet current qualification and registration requirements outlined by the Education Workforce Council.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, able to quickly establish positive relationships with young people and motivate participation.
Experience working collaboratively and independently, supporting co-produced work with young people, and adapting to their needs is essential.
An understanding of inclusive methods of engaging with young people is required.
Additional informationGrade: T00 6 (£23,825 per annum)This post is subject to DBS Enhanced checks.
It is part-time, working 3 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. The salary is based on 37 hours/week and will be pro-rata accordingly.
