Job summary

Access Garage Doors Ltd is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager in Crawley, West Sussex. You will support efficient warehouse operations and help deliver garage doors across the South East and Midlands, with some warehouse duties and a customer-facing focus.

The role requires driving, stock control, packing, and using Sage systems. You will lead loading for deliveries and may act as a key holder in the absence of the Warehouse Manager. Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Clean driving licence with up to 3 points.
• Experience in warehouse operations and forklift use.
• Experience driving around the South East.
• Physically fit; heavy lifting involved.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Forward thinking and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Check vehicles are loaded with correct doors and spare parts.
• Cover driving to regular customers in the South East and Midlands.
• Unload garage doors and spares; self-unload when customers are absent.
• Lead loading of vehicles for next day deliveries.
• Assist in stores; pick/pack items and use courier systems.
• Assist customers at the trade counter with enquiries and despatches.
• Check deliveries, booking in items and inventory movements.
• Support warehouse movements, stock control and door rotation.
• Act as key holder when Warehouse Manager is away.
• Carry out general warehouse duties, van maintenance and cleaning.
• Accurately use Sage systems for records.
• Assist Capital Building Plastics with trade counter and deliveries.
