Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced automotive professional to lead our Thame tyre centre as Assistant Tyre Centre Manager. You will manage front-of-house and workshop teams, drive customer service excellence, support sales targets, and ensure stock control and safety standards.

The role offers a starting salary around £31,900 per annum, a lucrative bonus scheme (£35,000–£40,000+), a £1,000 signing-on bonus, a 5‑day week, enhanced annual leave, and full IMI training with pension

Qualifications

• Proven automotive sector experience, ideally in fast-fit, tyre or exhaust.
• Previous supervisory or management responsibility in an automotive environment.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent customer service with focus on delivering a positive customer experience.
• Ability to maximise sales and control costs.
• Good organisational skills and compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Line management of front-of-house staff and workshop team
• Manage customer enquiries in person and by phone
• Assist in achieving sales targets and monitor centre performance
• Carry out stock checks and audits
• Provide hands-on workshop assistance when required
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Support the Centre Manager in daily operations and strategic initiatives
