Job summary

Protyre Autocare, part of the Micheldever Group, is seeking a commercially minded Centre Manager to lead a busy Salisbury depot. You will manage teams, drive sales, ensure stock control and customer service, while maintaining health and safety standards.

A full UK driving licence and experience in a similar role are essential. We offer a regular bonus, funded IMI courses, staff discounts on tyres, servicing and MOTs, plus Pension, Eye Care, Cycle to Work and Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifications

• Must have Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Demonstrable success in a Centre Manager or Assistant Centre Manager role in Automotive
• Experience of managing multiple priorities
• Working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Managing and motivating the team, driving the teams’ sales and providing training to the team when necessary
• Maximise the customer conversion rate by ensuring all team members utilise the company telephone technique and call-back procedures
• Leading the operation and daily running of the depot
• Maintain the security of the branch, its stock, assets, customer information, and takings
• Maintain accurate stock control systems and processes and make available for audit in accordance with company guidelines
• Ensure that equipment and machinery is maintained and serviced routinely to allow safe operation
• Ensure stock deliveries are stored and booked into stock on the day of delivery
