Job summary

The role involves assisting with planning applications, researching policy, reviewing local and national guidance, preparing statements and reports, and liaising with authorities and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• RTPI accredited degree in town planning or related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of the UK planning system and policy.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications.
• Undertaking research into planning policy, legislation and guidance.
• Reviewing local and national planning policies and their implications for development.
• Assisting with planning appraisals and feasibility assessments.
• Preparing planning statements, reports and other technical documents.
• Liaising with authorities, consultants, clients and stakeholders.
• Monitoring applications and supporting project programmes.
• Attending meetings and site visits as needed.
