Job summary

Welsh Government is seeking an Assistant Technical Project Manager to support the delivery of capital and property projects across Wales. The role involves assisting procurement, contract creation, and project oversight within a dynamic property infrastructure division.

Travel across Wales is required as projects span multiple sites. The post supports the Property Infrastructure Division, with continuity of operations and sustainability commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience in assisting delivery of property infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of construction/infrastructure deliveries is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist management of project teams and consultants to deliver projects within timescales and budgets.
• Prepare and review project briefs and tender documents.
• Assist with procurement activities and creating contracts.
• Monitor projects for value for money, sustainability and compliance.
• Prepare ministerial briefs to obtain project approvals.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health and Safety regulations.
