Job summary

Transport for Wales is seeking a project administration support role to assist in delivering infrastructure programmes in Wales. You will work with the Project Manager to manage contracts, coordinate risks, and ensure governance and safety requirements are met.

The role involves reviewing documents from delivery partners and supporting procurement activities to keep projects on time and within cost. Experience with project lifecycles, stakeholder communications, and MS Office will help you

Qualifications

• Knowledge of project lifecycle and governance processes.
• Strong communication with project teams and stakeholders.
• Understanding of risk management practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and trackers.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager with contract management and governance activities.
• Coordinate risk reduction meetings and maintain risk registers.
• Review partner documentation for compliance with TfW governance and CDM.
• Assist planning and readiness meetings and coordinate delivery activities.
• Contribute to CDM compliance and pre-construction information.
• Maintain project records, action trackers and project controls documentation.
• Support procurement activities and supplier engagement for delivery partners.
• Help integrate environmental requirements and TfW sustainability objectives.
• Support review of programme submissions and escalation of issues.

Education

PM qualification (APM PFQ/PMQ/PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent)
