Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is seeking an Assistant Team Manager in Occupational Therapy (Front Door Team) to provide advanced OT practice and operational leadership within Adult Social Care.

You will oversee referrals, allocations and supervise OT staff, working with health colleagues and partner agencies to deliver timely, person-centred responses and drive service improvements in a hybrid-working environment.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with a recognised degree.
• Significant post-qualification experience in adult social care.
• Strong knowledge of Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act.
• Excellent communication, leadership and partnership-working in multidisciplinary settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Front Door Occupational Therapy duty, triage and allocation function.
• Provide supervision, mentoring and practice oversight for OT staff.
• Manage a small complex caseload and safeguarding processes.
• Collaborate with health colleagues, partner agencies and MDTs.
• Drive service improvement and promote strengths-based practice.
