Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Front Door Team in Maidenhead, Berkshire. The role offers hybrid working and a generous pay rate up to £38 per hour on a full-time, 3-month contract.

You will deliver outcome-focused assessments for adults, perform moving and handling evaluations, and contribute to safe care planning and multidisciplinary collaboration. A HCPC-registered OT with relevant experience is required.

What you will do

• Conduct outcome-focused assessments for adults with physical disabilities and age-related conditions.
• Perform complex moving and handling assessments within the Front Door Team.
• Evaluate physical dysfunction and functional ability to recommend appropriate complex equipment solutions.
• Provide expert manual handling advice and intervention planning.
• Support safe and effective care planning, managing cases independently.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain meticulous records and assessment documentation to support care delivery.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy, with HCPC registration.
• Proven experience as a Senior Occupational Therapist in an Adult Social Care setting.
• Extensive experience with complex moving and handling and equipment assessment.
• Autonomous work capability with strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Desirable Requirements

• Previous experience within a Front Door Team or community Occupational Therapy setting.
• Familiarity with Local Authority services and managing complex care assessments.
