Job summary

Amey Ltd is hiring a Permanent Assistant Surveyor to support the CEFA team in the Northeast of England or Yorkshire. The role is hybrid, 37.5 hours per week, and focuses on delivering condition surveys and property inspections to Network Rail standards.

You will develop into a fully competent Surveyor, progressing to surveys alone as you gain training, with opportunities for career growth, funded apprenticeships, and professional memberships as you advance.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Building Surveying (or similar) is preferred.
• Experience with repairs and maintenance inspections is valuable.
• Membership in professional bodies (RICS/CIOB) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Undertake measured condition surveys of buildings and structures for Network Rail properties.
• Input survey data using bespoke software and support ongoing redevelopment efforts.
• Assist the operational property inspection team to deliver surveys and related services.
