Job summary

Hightown Housing Association Ltd in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Female Assistant Support Worker for St Barnabas Court. This part-time role (15 hours per week) supports adults with learning disabilities across eight supported living homes and community outreach services.

You will provide person-centred care, assist with daily living activities and follow care plans. A care certificate or willingness to undertake a qualification is required, and a full UK driving licence with access to a car is

Female Assistant Support Worker - St Barnabas

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Salary: £10,491 per annum (£13.45 per hour)
Driving Licence & Vehicle with Business Insurance Required

Join our caring team at St Barnabas Court, supporting adults with learning disabilities to live more independently across eight supported living homes and community outreach services. You will help create a respectful, inclusive environment where individuals feel empowered to develop life skills and achieve their goals.

The Role

You will provide person-centred support by:

• Assisting with personal care in a dignified way
• Encouraging daily living skills to build independence and confidence
• Supporting individuals to achieve their goals
• Following support plans and risk assessments
• Building positive relationships through a collaborative approach

Shifts include - 8am-4pm, 10am-6pm and 9:30am-5:30pm

About You

You are caring, reliable and motivated, with a compassionate approach, treating others with respect, working collaboratively and empowering people to live fulfilling lives.

Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification

A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.
