Overview

Full-time Assistant Stylist role at Pets at Home – Grooming. Location: Bridge of Don Retail Park, Denmore Road, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, AB23 8JW. Salary: £12.21 per hour. Contract: Permanent, 39 contracted hours per week, with flexibility for busy periods.

The Role

Our Assistant Stylists are critical to the success of our Pets Grooming salons. You will deliver the highest standard of pet care, with a basic understanding of technical concepts related to preparing and clipping dogs for grooming, including handling techniques, using equipment, and pre-grooming preparation.

We will provide training, skills, and knowledge to deliver service aligned with our goal of being the Best Pet Care Business in the World. Responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of pet care and grooming preparation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Passion for delivering excellent service.
• Flexible to work across a 6-day week; hours may vary with a minimum 39-hour contract and additional hours during busy periods, absences, and holidays.
• Experience with dogs in a professional grooming or pet care environment is desirable but not essential; bathing/prepping your own dog does not qualify as professional experience. Experience in a customer-facing environment is preferred.
• Experience in a target-driven environment is a plus.
