Qualifications

• Some experience as a manager, team leader or supervisor.
• Willingness to complete Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland if hired.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the shop manager to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to customers.
• Develop your team of retail assistants through coaching and mentoring.
• Be accountable for the shop in the absence of the shop manager and ensure customers are looked after, deliveries are processed, and routines are completed to keep the shop safe and tidy.
• Motivate and guide your team to control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
• Support recruitment and induction of new team members.
