Job summary

Farmfoods is recruiting an Assistant Store Manager for our Canterbury, Kent shop. This full-time role covers 43 hours per week across 5 days, usually including at least one weekend shift. The salary ranges from £31,449 to £35,306 per annum, with 6 weeks holiday, 15% staff discount and a comprehensive benefits package.

We expect flexible availability on a 5 days from 7 pattern and strong leadership to motivate a small team and deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a manager, team leader or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Run an efficient shop with the shop manager and provide great service to customers.
• Develop and coach your team of retail assistants through feedback and mentoring.
• Be accountable in the shop in the absence of the manager and ensure customers, deliveries and routines are well managed.
• Help control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
