Job summary

Musgrave Group Plc is recruiting for a part-time Assistant Manager at Supervalu Dungiven. The role supports the Store Manager in daily operations, including managing staff, stock, and customer service, with shift flexibility across days, evenings and weekends.

You will work in a busy convenience or supermarket environment, focusing on KPI delivery, profitability, and safe store practices, while contributing to community engagement and store performance.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ recent experience in a busy convenience or supermarket at Supervisor level.
• GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above.
• Experience in stock control, people skills, cost control, rota planning, HACCP implementation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
• Good working knowledge of all fresh food areas.
• Post Office, off licence, forecourt experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager to deliver on store KPIs and profitability.
• Support shift patterns, rostering and team management.
• Assist with stock takes and action plans to improve results.
• Lead by example on food safety, health and safety and compliance.
• Deliver excellent customer service and drive store sales.
• Engage with local community and drive store through social initiatives.
