Job summary

Clarks is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in guiding the retail team and overseeing daily operations. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes customer service excellence, operational efficiency, and achieving performance targets.

The ideal candidate will have retail leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced store environment, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership, supervisory, or keyholder roles preferred.
• Comfortable driving KPI’s and results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead and inspire a team.
• Solid organizational and problem solving abilities.
• Flexible to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Experience with POS systems and inventory management.

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading our retail team and driving daily operations. This role is a blend of leadership, customer service, and operational management. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who can step in wherever needed to ensure the store runs smoothly and meets performance goals.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in retail leadership, supervisory, or keyholder roles preferred.
• Comfortable in driving KPI’s and results.
