Job summary

Clarks Outlet at Bluewater is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help the Store Manager lead the retail team and oversee daily operations.

The role blends leadership, customer service, and operational management in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will drive KPIs, motivate staff, and ensure service standards meet targets, including weekends and bank holidays. Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and MS Office/Google Workspace tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership preferred.
• Ability to drive KPIs and performance.
• Willingness to work a 7-day shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

About the role :

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading our retail team and driving daily operations. This role is a blend of leadership, customer service, and operational management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can step in wherever needed to ensure the store runs smoothly and meets performance goals.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in retail leadership, supervisory, or keyholder roles preferred.
• Comfortable in driving KPI’s and results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and Solid organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work a7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.
