Job summary

Clarks Outlet in Bristol is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading our retail team and daily operations. This hands‑on role blends leadership, customer service, and operations to ensure the store meets performance goals.

The ideal candidate has prior retail leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the flexibility to work a 7‑day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays. This is a full‑time on‑site position with Clarks benefits.

About the role :

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading our retail team and driving daily operations. This role is a blend of leadership, customer service, and operational management. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who can step in wherever needed to ensure the store runs smoothly and meets performance goals.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Previous experience in retail leadership, supervisory, or keyholder roles preferred.
• Comfortable in driving KPI’s and results.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Strong communication and Solid organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work a7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.
