Job summary

Attic Self Storage is opening a brand new store in Morden. You’ll join as an Assistant Store Manager to help lead the store from day one, with training at nearby stores to ensure you’re ready when Morden opens.

You’ll support the Store Manager to hit sales targets, coach the team, and manage daily operations, inventory and reporting. This role offers training, performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Store Manager, or similar, in retail, sales or customer service.
• Proven consultative sales and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Strong literacy and numeracy.
• You must live within 30 minutes of the Morden store.

• Sales leadership: set and drive sales, occupancy and revenue targets, and motivate the team to hit them
• Customer service: coach the team to give great service and build lasting customer relationships
• Team management: recruit, train, schedule and supervise the sales team
• Inventory and budget: manage stock levels and audits, and support budgets and reporting
• Store operations: run the day-to-day, including opening, closing, safety and compliance
• Marketing and reporting: deliver in-store promotions and spot trends in sales data

Attic Self Storage is opening a brand new store in Morden, and we’re building the team from day one. We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help lead it.

Training starts before the doors open

While Morden is being built, you’ll complete your training at one of our nearby stores. You’ll learn the business from experienced teams, so you’re ready to hit the ground running when Morden opens.

The role

You’ll support the Store Manager to hit sales targets and deliver outstanding service. When the Store Manager is away, you’ll step up and lead.
