Job summary

bp retail is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead the forecourt and store operations, including the Wild Bean Cafe, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

You will drive team engagement, development, and recruitment while delivering excellent service and overseeing store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Ensure legal and safety compliance across store operations, e.g., food safety, underage sales, forecourt operations.
• Support the team’s management, including engagement, development, training, recruitment, and other people tasks.

What you are responsible for

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team and all aspects of the forecourt and store operations, including our Wild Bean Cafe.

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your team, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Ensure legal and safety compliance through all of the store’s operations e.g., food safety, underage sales, forecourt operations
• Working with the team to deliver great customer service at every level through getting the basics right and listening to our customers and driving continuous improvement
• As an Assistant Store Manager, it will be your responsibility to support with the team’s management, including engagement of the store team, development, training, recruitment, and other people related tasks.
