Job summary

BP Retail is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its forecourt and store operations, including the Wild Bean Cafe. The role requires leading the team, ensuring safety, and delivering outstanding customer service at every touchpoint.

You will be involved in people management, development, training, recruitment and other team tasks, with flexible hours and opportunities for progression within bp retail.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail leadership.
• Ability to motivate teams and drive safety and customer service.

What we’re looking for

We seek managers with strong leadership or retail experience who can support and energize a team to excel in safety, customer service, operations, and team activities.

What you are responsible for

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team and all aspects of the forecourt and store operations, including our Wild Bean Cafe.

• Making sure that safety of yourself, your team, and the customer, in line with bp policies and procedures, is your top priority
• Ensure legal and safety compliance through all of the store’s operations e.g., food safety, underage sales, forecourt operations
• Working with the team to deliver great customer service at every level through getting the basics right and listening to our customers and driving continuous improvement
• As an Assistant Store Manager, it will be your responsibility to support with the team’s management, including engagement of the store team, development, training, recruitment, and other people related tasks.
