Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Contract Manager for a major social housing refurbishment programme in Birmingham. You will lead operational teams, manage KPIs and ensure quality and safety across occupied properties.

Reporting to the senior operations team, you will build strong client relationships with the local authority and residents, coordinate subcontractors, manage risks and drive improvements across multiple live projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing refurbishment or planned works.
• Ability to manage multi-site projects and teams.
• Commercial awareness and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational teams, Site Managers and subcontractors to deliver works safely, efficiently and to programme.
• Manage multiple live refurbishment projects and ensure performance against KPIs.
• Work closely with local authority and residents, maintaining strong client relationships.
• Monitor programme progress, quality, productivity and commercial performance.
• Manage subcontractor performance, variations, risk and contractual issues.
• Ensure works are delivered to health & safety, quality and customer standards.
• Identify and resolve delivery issues quickly, providing leadership across the workstream.
