Job summary

Bellway PLC in Bristol is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a high-volume residential development. You will assist the Site Manager, lead on-site teams and uphold health and safety standards, ensuring timely delivery and quality.

Role requires knowledge of NHBC standards, planning compliance, and strong communication. You will support production, manage costs, and liaise with sales for customer tours and handovers.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Site Manager with a high-volume residential house builder.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, building legislation and NHBC standards.
• CSCS Site Manager level, SMSTS, First Aid certificates.
• Level 4/5 NVQ or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with day-to-day site running and provide clear direction to on-site teams.
• Support health and safety procedures and NHBC/LABC compliance.
• Help manage production and monitor costs; approve payments to contractors.
• Ensure site records and progress reports are maintained and submitted.
• Coordinate with sales to deliver homes and conduct customer tours.
