Job summary
Skilled Careers is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a flagship large-scale residential development in Lakenheath, Suffolk. You will report to the Senior Site Manager and help deliver homes safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
The role offers a salary of £45,000–£55,000 with a competitive package including bonus, car allowance or company vehicle, pension and private healthcare. Progression towards Site Manager is supported.
Qualifications
- Experience as an Assistant Site Manager within residential housebuilding.
- Experience with volume housebuilder is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of traditional build construction methods.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with subcontractors and site labour
- Driving health & safety standards across the development
- Coordinating trades to achieve build programmes and deadlines
- Conducting quality inspections and snagging
- Supporting NHBC and Building Control inspections
- Monitoring site presentation and housekeeping
- Assisting with material management and deliveries
- Ensuring plots delivered to high customer service standards
- Supporting the site team with handovers and completions
