Job summary

Kier is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join our Construction team on site-based projects across education, health and public sectors. This role supports the Site Manager to deliver projects safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

You will hold a CSCS card with SMSTS and have demonstrable construction experience, excellent communication, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement on site.

Qualifications

• CSCS card and SMSTS qualification are required.
• Demonstrable experience on operational construction projects.
• Working towards membership of a Professional Body.
• Clear communication and collaboration with others.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement on site.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in delivering projects safely, on time and to required quality.
• Manage resources and implement project plans for your section.
• Coordinate operational communications with customers, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, legal requirements and contractual terms.
• Motivate the site team to achieve project objectives and minimise costs.
