Job summary

Thorn Baker Construction is recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager on a permanent basis to work across traditional new build housing sites in the West Midlands. The role supports the Site Manager, coordinates subcontractors, and ensures safety, quality and programmes are maintained to deliver high-quality homes.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in an assistant role with housing developers, SMSTS/CSCS and First Aid.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a permanent Assistant Site Manager position.
• 2+ years' experience working for a housing developer.
• Ideally experience with a PLC housebuilder.
• Strong traditional new build housing experience.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager with day-to-day running of the site.
• Manage subcontractors and trades on site.
• Monitor health & safety and quality standards.
• Ensure programmes and build schedules are maintained.
• Collaborate with the wider site team to deliver high-quality homes.

Thorn Baker Construction are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a housing developer working across traditional new build housing sites.

What's Needed

• 2+ years' experience in a permanent Assistant Site Manager position
• 2+ years' experience working for a housing developer
• Ideally experience with a PLC housebuilder

• Relevant qualifications including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
