Job summary

Thorn Baker Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a leading housing developer on traditional new build sites across the Midlands. The role is permanent and offers an up-to-£55,000 package plus benefits including a car allowance and bonus options.

You will support the Site Manager, manage subcontractors, monitor safety and quality, and help maintain build programmes to deliver high-quality new homes on sites across Redditch, Nuneaton, Coventry, and potentially Gaydon.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a permanent Assistant Site Manager position.
• 2+ years' experience working for a housing developer.
• Ideally experience with a PLC housebuilder.
• Strong traditional new build housing experience.
• Relevant qualifications including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site.
• Managing subcontractors and trades.
• Monitoring health & safety and quality.
• Ensuring programmes and build schedules are maintained.
• Working closely with the wider site team to deliver high-quality new homes.
