Sue Ryder Forest Hill shop is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager on a part-time basis. 30 hours weekly (15 hours across Sat/Sun and 15 hours on weekdays) in a 1-floor shop at London Road, Forest Hill (SE23 3HF). £12.83 per hour plus London weighting of £1515 per year.

1 in 2 weekends, shifts start around 8.45am and finish by 5.15pm, with major holidays off. Join us to support the manager and team, drive income for vital services, and champion recycling and reuse through creative campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales, income and performance against targets.
• Motivate the team to provide excellent service to customers and donors.
• Build community relationships to generate quality donated stock.
• Recruit, train and retain a committed volunteer team.
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, housekeeping and health & safety.
• Manage stock and EPOS processes to keep the shop fresh and well presented.
• Champion the Sue Ryder brand in-store campaigns and fundraising initiatives.
