Job summary

Bayne's the Family Bakers is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager for Lochee, Dundee. 35 hours per week with some weekend shifts from early morning; £14.28 per hour. You will supervise and support the shop team while maintaining high standards of service and product quality.

Experience in a supervisory/management capacity and in retail/food-to-go is preferred. Benefits include staff discounts and a positive, team-focused environment in a historic local bakery.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Retail experience in the food to go sector would be ideal.
• Experience delivering on KPI`s and profitability.
• Experience managing stock.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent excellent customer service within your shop.
• Assist the shop manager with all operational standards.
• Assist the shop manager in accurate scheduling (colleague rotas).
• Assist new colleagues ensuring they are fully supported with induction and training.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, legal diligence and health and safety.
• Maintain excellent standards within the shop.
• Ensure compliance with company cash and security processes.
• Ensure the quality of our products is maintained throughout the day.
• Encourage the development of your team.
• Hands-on serving, bake off, making filled rolls, hot drinks etc.

Assistant Shop Manager, Lochee, Dundee, DD2 3BX

35 hours per week (although additional hours may be available).

£14.28 per Hour.

As our Assistant Shop Manager you will be given various shifts - which will change week to week and will include weekends (when rostered on) between 530am and 5pm - any 5 days from 7.

To be considered for this role you should have previous supervisory or management experience.

• Previous retail experience in a supervisory role, particularly within the food to go industry would be ideal.
• Confident and enthusiastic
• Experience of delivering on KPI`s and profitability.
• Experience of managing stock
