Job summary

The role involves supervising the shift team, deputising for the Shift Team Leader, and may include responsibilities as Senior Authorised Person (SAP). You’ll also supervise contractors and help maximise plant availability within the Maintenance Department.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Shift Team Leader supervises the shift team and plans, implements and monitors systems to maximise process efficiency and ensure health, safety and environmental compliance on a 24 hour shift system.
• They deputise for the Shift Team Leader when required and may undertake the role of Senior Authorised Person (SAP).
• They supervise contractors on site and work as part of the Maintenance Department to maximise plant availability and maintain effective communication across the site.
