Job summary

United Response is seeking an Assistant Service Manager for our Supported Living services in Cornwall, UK. The role is permanent and offices are located in Launceston.

You will lead staff teams, ensure high-quality, person-centred support, and maintain compliance with CQC standards while developing leadership skills in a supportive governance framework. You’ll work 37.5 hours per week at an hourly rate of £15, with on-site responsibilities and the possibility to deputise for the Registered

Qualifications

• Experience leading staff teams in social care settings.
• Experience supervising, coaching or developing staff teams.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, CQC requirements and regulated activities.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the leadership, supervision and development of staff teams
• Driving high-quality, person-centred support and positive outcomes
• Supporting safeguarding, risk management and safe working practices
• Maintaining compliance with CQC regulations and organisational standards
• Monitoring quality, performance and continuous improvement activities
• Supporting rota planning and operational delivery
• Deputising for the Registered Manager when required
• Building positive relationships with families, professionals and stakeholders
