United Response is seeking an Assistant Service Manager in Darlington to lead day-to-day service operations, ensuring safe, person-centred support for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. You will work with the Registered Manager to develop staff teams and maintain high standards of care.

You’ll oversee safeguarding, quality, compliance and continuous improvement while supporting rota planning and service delivery across locations.

Competenze

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health needs.
• Experience supervising, coaching or developing staff teams.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, CQC requirements and regulated activities.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Confidence managing day-to-day service operations.
• Good IT and administrative skills.
• Flexibility to participate in an on-call rota.
• Ability to travel between locations when required.
