Job summary

Sheffield City Council’s Family Intervention Service invites an experienced manager to lead our Early Help provision across the city. You will manage Team Managers, drive performance, safeguard practice and workforce development, and deputise for the Service Manager as needed.

The role offers 37 hours per week for 52 weeks, with flexible working options and a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. Permanent contract at 1.5 FTE basis.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification with a minimum of 3 years experience.
• Ability to engage and collaborate with partners and deploy resources.
• Experience deputising for a service manager and leading improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance, quality, safeguarding practice and workforce development.
• Manage resources across a geographic area and lead service transformation.
• Deputise for the Service Manager when required and build strong partner relationships.
